My contemporary books were "spicier" than what I do now, and I plan to bring them back out once they've been made more current and compatible for my new audience. Currently, A CHRISTMAS FOR CAROLE, a revamped Christmas novella is available digitally for Kindle, Nook, etc.
A Christmas for Carole
When men’s clothing store owner Carole Chapman finds an abandoned baby in the midst of a nativity scene in front of a local church, she is appalled. Abandoned at a church home by her mother, Carole has lost not only her faith but much of her own self worth. When foster parent Chris Nicholas is called to take charge of the infant, she isn’t much relieved, since the blond giant with the sweet smile looks more like a street person than the police psychologist he is, and she knows all about foster parents.
To Chris, a widower already fathering seven kids, one more is no big deal. But the pain he sees in Carole’s eyes troubles him. So does the fact that despite knowing that she isn’t the type of woman he usually dates, he can’t get the disillusioned shop owner out of his mind. A rescuer by nature, Chris hopes that time spent with him and his crazy family will release her from the pain of her past and help heal her heart. The question is will she let him?
